For a time, I called Manhattan my home and was always inspired by the energy and never ending activity of the city.  I wanted to bring about a feeling of density in this painting and did so with sheer detail and adhering strictly to the correct scale so as not to distort, but rather, to accentuate its rhythm. 

It made for a great painting and the print is also a beauty! For all fans of the city, both current and of eras past, this is a fun way to appreciate the intensity of the Big Apple without leaving your living room.
